A Study on Mental Health of Kindergarten,Primary and Middle School Teachers

Abstract

Objective:To study the mental health conditions of kindergarten,primary and middle school teachers in Hebei province.Methods:Mental health of 924 kindergarten,primary and middle school teachers were assessed by SCL-90.Results:The primary and middle school teachers showed significantly higher scores than the norm in 8 factors of SCL-90.Teachers of different sex showed significant difference on anxiety and phobic anxiety.The severity of mental health of 9.37% teachers was above middle level.Conclusion:The primary and middle school teacher's mental health status was not good,to which the education administration must pay attention.
