Abstract

Study on Learner autonomy originated from the West.It has become a hot issue in the field of foreign language teaching and learning in China in recent years.Learner autonomy is a new mode of language learning and becomes one of the objectives of our education.This paper summarizes the achievements of the study on Learner Autonomy acquired both at home and abroad in the past years,and points out some problems in the autonomy study and implementation in China.
