Effect of Zhiweifangbian capsule on levels of prostaglandin E2,gastrin and motilin in chronic atrophic gastritis progress of rats with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis

Abstract
Objective To study effects of Zhiweifangbian capsule(ZWFB) on levels of prostaglandin E2,gastrin and motilin in chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG) progress of rats with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis.Methods Model of CAG was established with synthetic method.After treated with ZWFB,the gastric tissue level of prostaglandin E2,the serum level of gastrin,levels of motilin in gastric tissue and plasma were detected.Results In successful model group,the gastric tissue level of prostaglandin E2,the serum level of gastrin were much lower than those of normal group(P0.01,P0.05),levels of motilin in gastric tissues and plasma were much higher than those of normal group(P0.05).Compared with model group,ZWFB could increase the gastric tissue level of prostaglandin E2 and the serum level of gastrin,increase levels of motilin(P0.05) significantly.Conclusions ZWFB has functions of regulating gastric acid and gastric mucus,gastrointestinal motility and ameliorating gastric mucosal blood flow.
