The Expression and Clinicopathological Significance of PCNA,Ki-67 and P53 Protein in Prostate Cancer

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expression and clinicopathological significance of PCNA,Ki-67 and P53 protein in prostate cancer.Methods:To detect the expression of PCNA,Ki-67 and P53 protein in 82 cases of prostate cancer and 20 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia by immunohistochemistry, then to analyze and compare the difference between them.Results:The expression of PCNA,Ki-67 and P53 protein in prostate cancer was higher than which in benign prostatic hyperplasia,it was statistically significant difference(P 0.05),and it was higher in prostate cancer which was poorly differentiated(G3) or lymphatic metastasis than which in high differentiation(G1) or without lymphatic metastasis,it was statistically significant difference too(P 0.05).Conclusion:The expression of PCNA,Ki-67 and P53 protein in prostate cancer is related to the pathological grade and lymphatic metastasis,it has a certain significance to the early diagnosis and the clinical prognosis of prostate cancer by detected the expression of PCNA,Ki-67 and P53 protein jointly.
