Abstract

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of tacrolimus and cyclophosphamide in the treatment of lupus nephritis. Method From December 2009 to December 2012, 180 patients with lupus nephritis were treated as the research objects, they were divided into observation group and control group randomly. Two groups of patients were given prednisone treatment, observation group accepted tacrolimus, control group accepted cyclophosphamide. Compared the two groups of patients after treatment of serum cells and immune factors, efficacy and adverse reactions. Result The 24 hours urine protein, level of C3, ANA positive rate, systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index(SLEDAI) scores and adverse reactions of observation group were significantly lower than control group, the total effective rate was significantly higher than control group(P 0.05). Conclusion Tacrolimus combined with cyclophosphamide can reduce the level of serum cells and immune factors in patients with lupus nephritis, the effect is more significant, the incidence of adverse reactions is low, worthy of clinical application.
