Abstract

Objective:To investigate the expression of survivin in acute leukemia bone marrow cells, and analyze the relationship between the expression of survivin and the clinical significance. Methods: By using the immunohistochemical technique we detected the expression of survivin in the untreated acute leukemia patient's cells and the normal bone marrow cells, and analyzed the difference of CR rate between the patients with positive effect and negative effect. Results: The expression of survivin in acute leukemia bone marrow cells were significantly higher than that in the normal bone marrow cells(P0.01).The CR rate of the patients with negative expression was higher than that of the patients with positive expression(P0.05).Conclusion:It is possible that the expression of survivin influences the clinical effect, which might have clinical significance in predicting the prognosis in acute leukemia.
