Abstract

Objective To investigate the expression of Survivin、Cyclin-dependent Kinase 4(CDK 4)、Ki-67 and the clinical signi-(ficance) in children with acute leukemia(AL).Methods The expression of Survivin、CDK 4、Ki-67 proteins were detected by immunohistochemical assay in 37 acute leukemia children. The control group included 10 children with normal bone marrow. Results Survivin protein expression rate was 45.9%,CDK4 protein expression rate was 56.8%,Ki-67 protein expression rate was 40.5% in 37 AL children. All of them were significantly higher than those in control group(all P0.05).The expression of Survivin was positively correlated with CDK4(P=0.007),and also positively correlated with Ki-67(P=0.008).Conclusions Survivin,CDK4,Ki-67 protein all over express in children with AL.They may play an important role in genesis and development of pediatric AL.
