Abstract

Objective: To explore the clinical application value of CT guided percutaneous lung biopsy in the diagnosis of unexplained pulmonary mass. Methods: To obtain tissue specimens by CT guided percutaneous lung puncture biopsy, make histopathological diagnosis and analyze accuracy of the method in the diagnosis of pulmonary mass and complication rate. Results: 123 biopsy specimens were obtained from 126 patients(97.6%),111 cases were diagnosed as malignant lesions(positive rate 90.2%) by histopathological diagnosis;3 cases failed to confirm the diagnosis;18 cases(14.3%) had complications, including 3 cases which were serious and needed treatment. Conclusion: CT guided percutaneous lung biopsy is an effective, minimally invasive and safer inspection method.
