Clinical efficacy analysis of budesonide inhalant combined with montelukast in treatment of bronchial asthma in children

Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of budesonide inhalant combined with montelukast in treatment of bronchial asthma in children. Methods Eighty-six cases patients with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into control group (40 cases) and treatment group (46 cases), the control group received conventional and atomization inhalation treatment of budesonide, and the treatment group received montelukast based on the control group, after treatment the clinical efficacy of two groups were evaluated. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 93.48%, which was significantly higher than 77.50% of control group, the extinction time of clinical symptoms such as difficulty breathing, wheezing, cough of treatment group were significantly shorter than those of the control group, and could effectively improve lung function than control group. Conclusion Budesonide inhalant combined with montelukast can improve lung function with bronchial asthma in children and it is worthy of clinical application.
