On Language Teaching An Cultural Teaching in College English Teaching

Abstract

This paper analyzes the relationship between language teaching and cultural teaching.It points out the importance of cultural teaching in foreign language teaching.The aims of college English teaching is not only to develop the students' language skills but also the cognition and cultural competence The proper combination of language teaching with cultural teaching is an effective way to improve the quality of foreign language teaching.
