Abstract
Using the electrofusion impulse as mutagenic agent to treatment Streptomyces natalensis and with added streptomycin sulfate plat creening resist strains,a high-natamycin mutant strain SN114 was obtained. At the same fermentation conditions, that the yield of natamycin was 1.098g/L and 1.6 times of that of original strain's.The mutual strain has a good genetic stability of descendiblity of natamyin production after being inoculated for five subsequent generations.
