Analysis of 60 Cases Unqualified Blood Preparation

Objective To study the blood preparations unqualified causes in blood tests and solutions.Methods Cases of 60 unqualified samples in blood test from June 2011 to December 2011 in our clinical laboratory were retrospectively analyzed.Results Among these cases of 60 unqualified blood samples,23 cases had hemolysis,accounting for 38.33%,15 cases had blood clots,accounting for 25.00%,11 cases had sample delayed,accounting for 18.33%,5 cases were error specimens,accounting for 8.33%,4 cases had inaccurate volume,accounting for 6.67%,and 2 cases had container broken,accounting for 3.33%.Conclusion Collecting specimens for clinical blood tests should be strictly in accordance with the operational procedures and inspection requirements,and delivery should be timely,which helping to ensure the quality of them and accuracy of the test results in order to provide dependable accordance and directions to clinical treatment.
