Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),white blood cell(WBC) count detection of neonatal bacterial infections.Methods Selected 40 newborn patients had been diagnosed with bacterial infection from December 2010 to December 2012 in our hospital.Also the same period hospitalization diagnosed 40 patients infected by the virus as the virus infection group,and 30 neonatal health examination,the application of statistical methods hs-CRP,comparing three groups of children with the measurement results and the positive rate of peripheral WBC count,and 32 cases of fever in children before and after treatment,hs-CRP,peripheral WBC count measurement results comparison.Results Bacterial infection group of 40 patients hs-CRP,peripheral blood leukocyte count measurement results of the ratio(12.21 ± 6.25) mg/L,(14.70±3.67)×109/L,and virus infection group and healthy controls groups were compared among the three groups there was a significant difference(P 0.01).Virus infection group and the healthy control group hs-CRP,peripheral WBC count measurement results were compared,the difference was not significant(P 0.05).Bacterial infection group of 40 patients hs-CRP,WBC count positive rates were 80.0%(32/40),32.5%(13/40),two sets of positive rates,there were significant differences(χ2= 17.235,P 0.01).Bacterial infection group of 40 patients in 32 cases of fever,32 cases of fever in children after treatment hs-CRP,WBC count were(6.23±1.09) mg/L,(8.56±2.38) ×109/L,respectively,compared with treatment before significantly reduced,and the difference was significant(P 0.01).Conclusion The detection of hs-CRP,WBC count has important clinical value for neonatal bacterial infectious diseases,can improve the accuracy of the diagnosis,help providing guidance for the treatment and prognosis of the disease.
