Analysis of Artery Embolization for Treatment of 8 Casese with Intractable Epistaxis

Objective To investigate the clinical effects,complications and cautions for interventional treatment of epistaxis.Methods interventional treatment technology and digital subtraction angiography(DSA)technology,the 8 patients with intractable epistaxis internal maxillary artery and/or facial artery embolization.Results The results showed that 8 patients had immediate hemostasis,all patients had varying degrees of headache symptoms,without serious complications occurred.Conclusion With technical and interventional treatment of digital subtraction techniques,to apply super-selective arterial embolization treatment for intractable epistaxis is a safe,effective method to stop bleeding.
