Abstract

Objective: To observe and evaluate the treatment of the 3DThZVAK+M/15 DThZV+ M regimen for multidrug resistant tuberculosis(MDR-TB) cases.Method:80 patients with MDR-TB were randomized 1:1 to experimental group and control group,40 patients in experimental group received the treatment regimen utilizing levofloxacin and M.Vaccae combined with other antituberculotics, and 40 patients in control group received other antituberculotics alone, the total course were 18 months. The short-term and long-term clinical treatment outcomes were observed.Result: At the end of the treatment, the sputum negative conversion rate was(78.9%vs 56.8%),foci absorption rate was(81.6%vs 59.5%),and cavity closure rate was(57.7%vs 39.1%) in experimental group and contral gorup respectively. In the experimental group, all of which were higher than those of the controls group. There was statistically significant difference between two groups (P0.05);Symptom improvement were(92.1%vs 59.4%),There was highly statistically significant difference between two groups(P0.01).Adverse reaction rates were(31.6%vs 35.1%),There was no statistically significant difference in two groups(P0.05).The bacteriological relapse rate were followed up for 1year,There was no statistically significant difference on recurrent rates in two groups(5.3%vs 10.8%)(P0.05).Conclusion:The short-term efficacy of treatment regimen utilizing levofloxacin and M.Vaccae on MDR-TB is valuable. The regimen is worth recommendable and can be further applied clinically.
