Abstract
An experimental study of the treatment of fluoride in zinc sulfate solution by aluminum sulfate was carried out. The influences of temperature, reaction time, addition amount of aluminum sulfate and aluminum sulfate dosing method on the percentage removal of fluoride were introduced. The results showed that the concentration of fluorine can be dropped to 29. 79 mg / L which met the zinc smelting enterprises, fluoride standard of 50 mg / L or less while the temperature of 30 ℃,reaction time being 20 min, aluminum sulfate being added in an amount of at least 3 g / L and aluminum sulfate dosing method as adding aluminum sulfate before zinc oxide.
