Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical value of loop electrosurgical excision procedure(LEEP) for diagnosis and treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN).Methods:A total of 423 cases who were diagnosed as CIN by three-step technique(TCT,colposcope, and cervical cytological test) in outpatient department underwent LEEP,then they were followed up and analyzed. Results:The pathological results of LEEP were CIN Ⅰ(123 patients),CIN Ⅱ(113 cases),CIN Ⅲ(137 cases),chronic inflammation(37 cases),invasive carcinoma(12 cases, including 8 cases of Ⅰa1,2 cases of Ⅰa2,and 2 cases of Ⅰb),and minimal deviation adenocarcinoma(one patient);after operation, the number of cases with CIN Ⅲ found by pathological examination increased, the detection rate of cervical cancer was 3.07%.The incidence of CIN was the highest among the cases aged 30-39 years old, there was significant difference in the incidence of CIN between the cases aged 30-39 years old and the cases aged 50-59 years old(P0.05),there was no significant difference among the other groups. At 1-2-month after operation, the cervix of most cases returned to normal,4 cases underwent secondary LEEP,the one-time success rate of LEEP was 99.05%,partial cases were lost to follow up,the effects of most cases were satisfactory,no recurrence of CIN was found. Conclusion:LEEP is the best method to cure cervical lesions at present, and it is an effective method to prevent and detect early cervical cancer.
