Abstract
In Chinese classical gardens,the ancient public gardens and government office yard are lower than the imperial gardens,temple gardens and private gardens in popularity.But in some particular ancient cities,their functions are obviously higher than other gardens.In ancient Nanning city construction,the ancient public gardens and government office yard occupies an important position,and are the main component of urban construction,endowed with some irreplaceable functions.Analyzing the generality and particularity of their relationship can help the construction of current urban gardens and landscapes become full of local characteristics,and add historical culture connotation to urban landscape,which is of extensive practical significance.
