Abstract

Meeting the public access to geographic information services is technically facilitated by the wide application of the WebGIS. Firstly, this paper gives a brief introduction to the basic concepts of WebGIS and the related techniques of ArcIMS used in this paper, and then the author create a WebGIS subsystem of public query based on ArcIMS using JavaScript, ArcXML and JSP.
