A New Method of the Design and Implementation of WebGIS By ArcIMS

ArcIMS is the general development software of WebGIS at present. Previously the implementation of WebGIS based on ArcIMS always use it’s several customing method which is a little tedious and not good in secondary development.On the basis of analy-sing of the of merits and dismerits existing developed methods, this article describes the packaging of the create of ArcXML with .NET, and implements the WebGIS development based on controller and ArcIMS Image Services by using ASP.NET and a general GIS Controller.
