The influence of immune function on Moxibustion at Zusanli to the 400m female athletes of Shaanxi Province

Abstract

Objective To discuss the influence of Moxibustion at Zusanli on immune function to the female athletes of Shaanxi Province.Methods 12 female 400m outstanding athletes in Shaanxi Province were divided into experimental group(Group high load training and moxibustion at Zusanli) and control group(Group high load training) with the principle of matching,moxibustion Zusanli.The intervention was used in experimental group after the six weeks winter training.The total time was 4 weeks,six days per week,15 minutes per day.5ml vein blood of each athlete was collected to measure IgA,IgG and IgM in the previous day,the 6th weekend and the end of the experiment.The blood sample was stored 30min at room temperature and followed 2500rpm centrifugal supernatant 10min to measure IgA,IgG and IgM.Results At the end of 6w winter training,IgG and IgA of the two groups athletes were both fallen(P0.05).IgG and IgA of moxibustion at Zusanli group increased more at the end of the experiment than that at the end of 6 weeks(P0.01 or 0.05).IgG and IgA of the control group athlets decline at the end of the experiment than that at the end 6 weeks(P0.05 or 0.01).At the end of the experiment,IgG and IgA of Zusanli moxibustion group was significantly different compared with that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion at Zusanli can inhibit the exercise training-induced humoral immunity declining and promote the restoration of immune function,it can also reduce the incidence of infectious diseases because of the overload training,it is a good methods of cost-effective,noninvasive to improve the immune function for athletes.
