Abstract
Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in China, whose occurrence and development is a multi-stage,multi-step sequential process.Phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome ten(PTEN) following the P53 gene,be found to be the most important tumor suppressor gene regulates the cell cycle and multiple signaling pathways. It is associated with the occurrence and development of the human variety of malignant tumors, and the reduction or absence of expression also has an important role in the emergence and development of gastric cancer.In-depth research on mechanisms of PTEN in gastric cancer will provide new methods and approaches to early diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of gastric cancer.
