Abstract
Objective:To explore the correlation between heparanase and cervical lesions. Methods:Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression levels of heparanase in cervical cancer tissues,normal cervical tissues and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) tissues,Chi-square test was used to analyze the relationship between expression of heparanase and clinical characteristics. Results:Among 58 cases with cervical invasive carcinoma,43 cases were found with positive heparanase,the positive expression rate was 74.14%,which was significantly higher than those in normal cervical tissues,CIN Ⅰ,CIN Ⅱ and cervical carcinoma in situ;there was a positive correlation between expression of heparanase and clinical stages,lymph node metastasis and depth of myometrial invasion of cervical cancer(P0.01);but the expression of heparanase was not related to histological types,degree of differentiation and age. Conclusion:Heparanase maybe play an important role in development,invasion and metastasis of cervical cancer,which can be used as an important reference criteria of invasion and metastasis of cervical cancer and a valuable therapeutic target.
