Abstract

Objective:To observe effects of acupuncturing the Du meridian as a main therapy on serum C-reaction protein in the patient of acute cerebral infarction. Methods:Eighty patients with cerebral infarction were divided into acupuncturing the Du meridian as a main therapy group(A group),conventional acupuncture group(B group),simple medicine group (C group),the level of serum CRP and neural deficit score was measured by scatter immune turbidity method before and after treatment. Results:The level of serum CRP and neural deficit score decreased in three groups after treatment. There was a statistically significant difference compared with pretreatment in three groups(P0.01),There was a statistically significant difference between A group、B group and C group after treatment(P0.01,P0.05),There was a statistically significant difference between A group and B group(P0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncturing the Du meridian as a main therapy can significantly decrease the level of serum CRP in patients of ACI.It can play an important role in improving nerve function damage degree and decreasing the inflammatory reaction.
