The Academic Freedom and the Reform of Chinese University Bureaucratic System

Abstract

The academic freedom is essential condition of the university knowledge innovation,and one of successful experiences that lead world famous universities to the academic magnificence as well.However,Chinese universities' academic freedom is being corroded by the bureaucratic management system.To promote the academic prosperity,it's necessary for Chinese universities to reform the rigid management system,adjust the authority assignment structure,release the academic freedom as far as possible in the legal permissible scope.
