Abstract

Objective To explore the changes of ischemia modified albumin(IMA),soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(SICAM-1) and hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) in serum of patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) and their clinical significance. Methods Serum IMA,SICAM-1 and hs-CRP in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI),unstable angina pectoris(UAP),and stable angina pectoris(SAP) were detected in the above three groups with 20 patients in each group, the results were compared with that of the health subjects(control group). Results Serum levels of IMA,SICAM-1 and hs-CRP in AMI patients were higher than that in UAP,SAP and control group(F=76.52,29.75,12.90;q=6.08-59.02;P0.01);Serum IMA,SICAM-1 and hs-CRP in UAP patients were higher than that in SAP and control group(q=4.30-181.90,P0.01);Serum levels of IMA,SICAM-1 and hs-CRP between SAP and control group were significantly different(q=4.97,8.58,2.82;P0.01).The serum IMA,SICAM-1 and hs-CRP in different type of CHD patients showed a positive correlation with each other(r=0.537-0.699,P0.01). Conclusion The changes of serum levels of IMA,SICAM-1 and hs-CRP are associated with the development and progress of coronary heart disease.
