Wandai Tang Combined with Antibiotics in Treatment of 35 Cases of Inflammatory Pelvic Pain

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Wandai Tang combined with antibiotics in the treatment of inflammatory pelvic pain. Methods: 70 patients with chronic pelvic pain in July 2012 to June 2014 in our hospital were random Ly divided into observation group and control group,35 cases in each group. The control group was given Ornidazole and Sodium Chloride Injection by intravenous drip and the observation group added modified Wandai Tang. The two groups were treated for 10 d. Before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy of the two groups,the pain score and total score of TCM symptoms and signs were compared. Results: In the observation group,the total effective rate was 94. 29% and the control group' s total effective rate was 77.14%. The comparison between the two groups was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Before treatment,two groups' pain score had no difference( P 0. 05). After treatment,the observation group's pain scores improved more significantly than that of the control group( P 0. 05). Before treatment,two groups' symptoms and signs total integral had no difference( P 0. 05) and after treatment,the observation group' s improved symptoms total score was significantly better than that of the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion: TCM Wandai Tang combined with antibiotics has the obvious clinical curative effect on inflammatory pelvic pain and can significantly improve the degree of pain,symptoms and signs and has certain clinical application value.
