The Review and the Perdiction of the New Historiography

Abstract

The process of the new historiography in China,can be divided into three stages:(1)the period of brewing(1840-1898),it broke through the obstruction on its way of developing and many new conception had arose;(2)the period of great developing(1899-1949),in this period,many conception had been discussed thoroughly and extensively;(3)the period of deeply advancing and renewing(1949-),in this period,we met some difficulties which was from ourselves and other sides,but we conquered them. More new ideas are arising and the further advance of the historiography in China is exciting.
