Abstract
Objective To optimize the extraction technology of Shenju Lotion. Methods The extraction technology of Shenju Lotion was optimized by L9(34) orthogonal test with matrine and the yield of extract as index, and amount of water added, time of soaking, duration of decoction and times of decoction as four factors. Results The time of decoction was the most important factor in the extraction process. The best extraction technology was adding 8 times of water, marinating for 2 h in advance, and the material should be decoeted twice with 1.5 h each time. Conclusion The extraction technology shows stabilization and feasibility and can be available for industrial production at large scale.
