Abstract
In this paper,we developed a new extraction method of astragalus polysaccharide using ultrasonic-microwave synergistic technique. The effects of extraction time, power of microwave and the ratio of liquid to solid were studied by single-factor and orthogonal experiments. The method was compared with traditional water extraction, microwave assisted extraction and ultrasonic assisted extraction.Optimal reaction conditions were obtained:extraction time was 150 s,power of microwave was 120 w and the ratio of solid to liquid was 1:25.The highest extraction rate of astragalus polysaccharide was 4.25% under optimal extraction conditions. The method of ultrasonic-microwave synergistical exteation is more efficient then other extraction methods.
