Abstract
Objective: To deretmine the changes and relationships between malomdialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and serum lipids in serum of the patients with coronary heart diseae (CHD).Methods:The leves of serum highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG),MDA and SOD were measured in 46 patients and 37 healthy of subjects. Results:Our data confirmed that the levels of TC,TG,LDL-C and MDA were higher (P0 01),the levels of HDL-C and SOD were lower (P0 02) in CHD patients than in controls.Correlation analysis revealed that the levels of TC and LDL-C correlated significantly with level of MDA (r=0.31,P0 05;r=0.37,P0.02),level of HDL-C correlated significantly with level of SOD (r=0.34,P0.05).Conclusion:The results suggested that there was close relationship of serum lipids with MDA and SOD.
