Therapeutic Observation on Acupuncture plus Facial Moving Cupping in Treating Acne

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture with moving cupping on face in treating acne.Method A hundred patients with acne were randomized into a treatment group and a control group,50 in each group.The treatment group was intervened by acupuncture plus facial moving cupping,and the control group was by medication.The clinical effects were compared after 3 treatment courses between the two groups.Result The total effective rate was 96.0%in the treatment group versus 72.0%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Integrated use of acupuncture and facial moving cupping is an effective approach in treating acne.
