Observation on The Therapeutic Effects of 52 Cases of Acne Treated By The Combination of Facial Acupuncture and Pricking Blood and Cupping

Abstract

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of the combination of facial acupuncture and pricking blood and cupping in the treatment of acne.Method:A total of 96 cases of patients with ance were randomized into two groups:the treatment group(n=52)which used the combination of facial acupuncture and pricking blood and cupping;the control group(n=44)which used the facial acupuncture only.Both groups were treated for three therapeutic courses,observing and following-up for a three-month period.Result:The total effective rate for the treatment group was 100.0% while for the control group was 88.6%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The combination of facial acupuncture and pricking blood and cupping is a safe and convenient therapeutic method with remarkable effects in the treatment of ance.
