Abstract

The extraction technique of mannitol from the solid residual medium powder of Cordyceps militaris by using ultrasonic wave-soaking combination was.Water was selected as the best solvent after comparing effects of different solvents, and ultrasonic wave-soaking combination was determined to be better than both merely by ultrasonic wave or soaking. Then single-factor experiments orthogonal L16(45) were carried out to investigate the optimal levels of the 5 factors of ultrasonic treatment time, ultrasonic power, ratio of materials and liquid, extraction time, extraction temperature. Results revealed that the ratio of materials and liquid had the most obvious effect on the extraction rate of mannitol, followed by the extraction temperature, and ultrasonic treatment time, extraction time and ultrasonic power had relatively small influence on the extraction rate. The best extraction conditions had been identified as: the ratio of materials and liquid was 1∶35,extraction temperature was 30℃,the extraction time was 2.0 h,the ultrasonic treatment time was 30 min,the ultrasonic power was 99 W.
