Abstract
Objective To study the expression and significance of human mammaglobin and Ki-67 in breast cancer. Methods The expressions of human mammglobin and Ki-67 detected by immunohistochemistry in 152 cases of breast cancer and 20 cases of benign breast diseases and its correlations to clinicopathlologic features were analyzed. Results The positive expression rate of human mammagloin in 152 cases of breast cancer were 51.3%(78/152),which was improved compared with the expressions in benign breast diseases that was 0.00%(0/30).The positive expression of human mammaglobin had notabe correlativity with axillary lymph node metastasis, clinical oeriodization, histologic classification and epidermal growth factor receptor people, but the relation with age, menstrual condition, tumor size. The positive expression rate of Ki-67 in 152 cases of breast cancer was 68.7%(104/152),which was improved compared with the expressions in benign breast diseases that was 0.00%(0/30).The positive expression of Ki-67 had notabe correlativity with axillary lymph node metastasis, clinical oeriodization, histologic classification and epidermal growth factor receptor people, but the relation with age, menstrual condition, tumor size. Conclusion Human mammaglobin and Ki-67 may participate in proceeding of breast cancer. It has certain coinical significance on evaluating invasiveness and metastasis in breast cancer.
