Abstract
Objective To investigate the epidemical scope of the endemic arsenism in Anyang and provide a scientific evidence for control and prevention. Methods To detect the arsenic concentration in drinking-water,according to the forepasssed result of drinking-water type endemic arsenic poisoning. Results Collect 1 584 water samples in 77 villages of 32 towns belonging to 5 countries in Anyang. There are 21 samples whose econcentrations of water arsenic overprooof, accounting for 1.33%(21/1 584),9 villages whose water arsenic is high in Huxian,8 475 people exposed to high arsenic. Conclusions First ientified high arsenic in Anyang. For the future it is necessary to screen high arsenic water and endemic arsenism areas.
