Abstract

Objective It aims to research the manifestation and mutual relationship between image and meaning in the book cover design. Methods From the cultural identity of the book cover,it described the function and source of the meaning of book cover,and analyzed the expression of meaning of cover design and the conception and layout of image. Conclusion Book cover design is a kind of art for image and meaning. Image is the body,and is attached to the life that meaning endows. Meaning is the soul,and is presented as image,and also decides image.
