On "Meaning" and Spatial Nature of "Meaning" in Philosophy——On Space in Ancient Chinese Poetics from the Perspective of Words,Images,and Meanings(V)

Meaning is an unavoidable issue in classical Chinese poetics.The traditional expressing ideals or feeling in poem is actually expressing meaning.But in classical literary theory,there are both advocating for and opposition to focus on meaning.This is because in classical literary theory,meaning is a kind of tao closely related to qi;while tao is in essence a kind of spatial chaos or chaotic space,which determines that classical Chinese poetry is a kind of space art(or at least a space-oriented art).
