Study of Curative Effects of Ambroxol on Acute Episode of Chronic Bronchitis

Objective:To study the clinical effects and untoward effects of ambroxol on acute episode of chronic bronchitis.Methods:92 cases of patients with acute episode of chronic bronchitis were selected as the research objects and they were divided into two groups randomly,including 44 cases in the control group and 48 cases in the observation group.The patients in the control group were given normal treatment such as resistance to infection,expectorant,cough relieving and asthma relieving,etc.,while those in the observation group were given Ambroxol Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection by intravenous drip on the basis of treatment of control group.Results:The clinical control rate and total effective rate of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P 0.05),the average length of stay of the observation group was less than that of the control group(P 0.05),and no obvious untoward effect occurred in the two groups.Conclusions:The treatment of ambroxol on acute episode of chronic bronchitis has good curative effects and the medication is safe,so it can be made into wide popularization and application.
