Abstract
Urban human settlements systems have obvious nature of regional levels.Different level of human settlements have different contents and needs different management.From the geographicviewpoint,urban human settlements systems have three regional levels which are city-wide level,community-wide and residence-wide leval.human settlements' management of city-wide level should be mainly departmentalized in consideration of human settlements' entirety.As for community-wide level the management should be based on regional separation to embodly human settlements' spatial difference.At present,there are many problems in management of human settlements.This article proposes a networked management mode which is combination of departmentalization and regional separation.
