To construct and improve urban human settlements is not only an old proposition, but also an eternal subject that coexisted with human being. With the development of industrialization and urbanization and the increasing improvement of social productivity, industry and population have been centralized so intensively that more and more people in the world pay more attention to the improvement of the urban human settlements, which have become important problems in the development of the society. Based on the theory of urban human settlements, the author sets forth the necessity of constructing urban human settlements,and discusses the optimization strategies for the urban human settlements.
