Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the sleep quality of nurses,and provide a scientific basis to improve sleep quality and health state of nurses.[Methods]PSQI scale was performed to investigate nurses in a hospital of Guangzhou in 2009.[Results]551 Nurses were investigated,the average score of PSQI was 7.23±3.18.The proportions of dimension ≥2 included sleep quality(42.64%),falling-sleep time(40.47%),sleep time(51.90%),sleep efficiency(3.44%),sleep disorder(18.87%) and daytime functional disorder(57.71%).249(45.19%) nurses suffered from low quality of sleep(PSQI scores exceed 7).[Conclusion]There are some problems in the sleep quality of nurses.
