Abstract

Objective: To study the effects of estrogen on reduced-size liver ischemia reperfusion injury in rats. Methods: 60 SD rats were divided into female group (F group) , male group (M group) , ovariectomy group (O group) and estrogen group (E2 group) at random. All the rats were made reduced-size liver ischemia reperfusion rats model, and ALT, AST, AKP content in serum were applied to evaluate the hepatic function in ischemia reperfusion injury. Results: The ALT, AST, AKP content in serum of F group were obviously lower than that of M group and O group (P0. 05). The ALT, AST, AKP content in serum of E2 group were obviously lower than that of. M group and O group (P0. 05). Conclusions: Es- trogen has significant protection for liver in reduced-size liver ischemia reperfusion injury.
