Abstract
Objective To observe the changes of liver injury and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) after limbs ischemia-reperfusion in rats and the protective effect of taurine. Methods The model of limbs ischemia-reperfusion injury was established in 40 wistar rats and were randomly separated into 4 groups:control group(C),taurine group(T),ischemia-reperfusion group (IR)and taurine+ischemia-reperfusion group(TR),10 cases each group. The levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)in plasma and the content of calcium,MDA,XOD,MPO and TNF-α in the plasma and the liver tissues were measured in each group, and the morphoiogic changes were observed with HE staining. Results Compared with the control group, the levels of ALT and AST in plasma and liver tissues, the contents of calcium,MDA,XOD,MPO and TNF-αincreased in liver tissues in IR group and TR group increased, while which in TR group were lower than those in IR group. Conclusion Taurine can decrease the level of TNF-αin the liver injury and mitigate the liver injury after limb ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats.
