Abstract
The technical characteristics of cathodic protection (CP) in oil and gas transmission station are introduced. Some problems such as high consumption of CP current, unreasonable distribution of anode ground bed, interference and shielding in design, construction and operation commissioning of cathodic protection system in a practical station are analyzed, and corresponding solutions are put forward. The simulation method of CP potential distribution values is used in design of CP in the station, and the relative error between the value calculation result and the practical measurement result is less than 5% .
