Study on Relationship between Anxiety Factors and Social Support in Coronary Care Unit(CCU) Patients

Objective To study influential factors of anxiety and the relationship between anxiety and social support in CCU patients.Methods Sixty CCU patients were investigated by SAS and PSSS questionnaires,and compared with domestic constant.Results The change of anxiety level in CCU patients was more obvious than that in the domestic constant(P0.05);there were significant differences among the total scores of anxiety in different genders and marriage situations(P0.05);the total score of perceived social support in CCU patients was at moderate level(52.77±8.37).Among them,the score of perceived family support was at high level(24.77±2.42);that out of family was at moderate level(28.00±6.85);anxiety was negatively related to social support,support in and out of family.Conclusion The anxiety level in CCU patients was obviously higher than normal people;different genders and marriage situations had significant differences in patients' anxiety score.Good social support can release patients' anxiety and improve patients' health.
