Clinical Control Study on Anxiety and Perceived Social Support Scores in Patients with Depression

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the scores of anxiety and perceived social support in patients with depression and to study their clinical significance. Methods: 124 patients with depression were collected as the observation group. 120 mental healthy adults were collected as the control group. Scales were employed to analyze the scores of anxiety and perceived social support. Results: The scores of anxiety were obviously higher in the observation group than in the control group. The scores of perceived social support were obviously lower in the observation group than in the control group. The scores of the observation group were correlated with marriage,economic income and disease course. There were negative correlation between anxiety and perceived social support by linear correlation analysis. Conclusions: The higher score of anxiety,the lower score of perceived social support,synergistic negative effect are found in patients with depression.
