Abstract
Objective To analyze the features of pulmonary tuberculosis(TB)in Longhua district of Shenzhen,and to provide scientific evidence for preventive strategies.Methods Descriptive analysis was conducted based on the data from the National Disease Surveillance Report System from 2007-2011in Longhua district of Shenzhen.Results From 2007-2011,the average incidence rate was 23.35/105;the average incidence rate was 31.78/105 for male and 15.61/105for women,with the sex ratio of 1.87∶1.People under the age of 20had the lowest incidence rate 9.21/105,and the highest rate was in those above 40years(45.79/105);the smear-positive rate of tuberculosis patients was 59.09%.Conclusion The overall incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis stays at a stable level and people over 40years are of high prevalence population.
