Abstract
To study the effects of liquor on blood pressure of rats, in the experiments,. thirty-two male healthy adult SD rats were randomly divided into four groups including control group(intragastric administration of sodium chloride, 5 mL/kg·d) and three liquor administration groups(group 1, group 2, and group 3, intragastric administration of different kinds of liquor for each group(5 mL/kg·d)). All rats were treated with intragastric administration once at 9:00am and 18:00pm every day(each time half dosage of the whole day). After intragastric administration for 12weeks, systolic blood pressure of every rat was measured by using tail-cuff and carotid arterial methods orderly. The results suggested that systolic blood pressure in three liquor administration groups was slightly higher than that in control group, but there was no significant difference statistically(P0.05), and there was no significant difference statistically in systolic blood pressure among the three liquor administration groups(P0.05). The administration of three different kinds of 52 %vol liquor with the dosage of 5 mL/kg·d for 12 weeks could slightly increase blood pressure of rats but such increase was not significant.
