Abstract
In order to design the signal generator which can generate four kinds of signals—the sine wave,the square wave,the triangle wave and the sawtooth wave,and whose amplitudes and frequencies are adaptively changeable,a research about works was developed.The design is realized with Verilog HDL in the environment of Altera's Quartus Ⅱ.When the program was downloaded to the chip of FPGA,the results of the experiments met the scheme design.With Verilog HDL,the design efficiency is improved and the design has the advantages of facility design,convenient operation,high reliability.
